Terms
These terms keep things straightforward so TheiPadFan stays useful and friendly for everyone. I’m Jordan Lee, and I run this catalog of Mac programs and plugins for people who, like me, live on Apple devices. If a program here fits your cross-device workflow, that’s exactly why I wrote about it.
1. Moderation and comments
Every comment you post goes into a queue and gets reviewed before it appears on the site. You’ll see your own comment marked as “awaiting moderation” until I’ve checked it. I can decline or remove a comment at any time and without entering a debate. I don’t owe a detailed explanation, though I’ll usually be transparent about why something didn’t make it through. Moderation decisions are final for the version of the site you’re looking at right now.
2. How to reach me about these terms
If you have questions or spot something that needs clarifying, send a note to [email protected]. I read every message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Please don’t use that address for software support requests — the developer of the app is the right person for those.
3. The catalog is information, not a guarantee
Every program page lists details like version number, file size, compatibility notes, and install tips. Older builds stay accessible for readers who keep older Macs running. All of that is my honest snapshot gathered from testing, developer notes, and community feedback. It’s not a promise that a piece of software will run perfectly on your specific Mac, your version of macOS, or your exact setup. Always check the developer’s system requirements before you buy or install.
4. Third‑party software and links
I link out to third‑party sites and developers constantly. Names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Inclusion in the catalog doesn’t imply endorsement between me and those companies — I’m simply a fan highlighting tools that fit an Apple‑device lifestyle. Support, updates, refunds, and privacy practices are handled entirely by the developer, not by TheiPadFan.
5. Comment guidelines
Keep comments useful for other readers who share your curiosity about Mac apps and games. Here’s what won’t make it past moderation:
- Abuse, harassment, or anything that reads like a personal attack.
- Posting someone else’s private data (address, phone number, email, or similar).
- Spam, repetitive promotions, or links that point to malware, phishing pages, or shady downloads.
- Impersonating another person, developer, or brand.
Comments that break these rules get declined without notice. If you notice something that slipped through, email me and I’ll take a look.
6. Changes to the terms
I update these terms when something about how the site works changes. The latest version lives on this page and takes effect as soon as it’s published. I don’t send individual alerts about revisions, so if you’re a regular, check back once in a while. Using the site after an update means you’re okay with the revised terms.
7. Copyright in the site texts
I write every catalog entry, note, and description myself. That text is my work and stays protected by copyright. You’re welcome to quote a short snippet on your own site or social profile as long as you link back to the original page and clearly credit TheiPadFan. Republishing whole pages or large chunks without permission isn’t allowed. Screenshots of the interface are fine for casual sharing; just don’t present them as your own resource.
